Milestones
Founded
Aequitas Foundation launched its first cohort of the Aequitas Experience — 12 to 24 young people, one bold conviction: that every youth deserves a fair start.
Building Momentum
Cohorts 2 and 3 completed, deepening our work experience partnerships and refining the programme model based on graduate feedback.
Community Events
Launched the Seasonal Drive — a twice-yearly programme bringing essential resources to children in under-resourced communities at Christmas and Easter.
Alumni & Culture
Held the inaugural Aequitas Alumni Forum and the Gifts for Christ Concert, establishing two annual touchstones for our growing community.
Cohort 11 Complete
With 118+ graduates across all cohorts and 60% female participation, the Aequitas Experience continues to set the standard for youth development in Ghana.
Voices of Aequitas
The Aequitas Experience has led to the shifting of my perspective with regards to my relationship with others, especially around communication and understanding that the burden of communication lies with the person speaking.

Scholars Mentored
Kwame grew up in a single-parent household in Accra, selling water sachets after school to help pay rent. When a community pastor nominated him for the Aequitas Scholarship in 2016, his life changed overnight.
After graduating with a degree in engineering, he enrolled in the Startup Incubator. With a seed grant and months of coaching, he launched a solar-powered cold storage startup serving rural farmers.
Today, Kwame mentors 12 scholars in the same program that transformed him — proving that transformation compounds.
Our Partners
We collaborate with institutions that share our conviction: that talent is equally distributed, but opportunity is not.
